About GreenWaySquad
GreenWaySquad is a student-led organization committed to broadening recycling education and promoting sustainability. We hope to participate in awareness projects, curriculum cultivation programs, and look forward to collaborating with other organizations for greater success. We are always open to new members and look forward to playing our part for a 100% sustainable world.
Through workshops, community service projects, and local collaboration initiatives, our chapters teach students how to apply sustainability practices effectively and measure real-world outcomes.
Meet the Team
Founder:
Madhavibala Mohanakrishnan
Madhavi has been passionate about bringing awareness to the environment since middle school. After several months of research and planning involving the GreenWaySquad, she founded this organization to work towards a world where our youth have 100% recycling and sustainability education.
Co-Founder:
Madhubala Mohanakrishnan
As a Co-Founder, Madhu has played an instrumental role in building the foundation of the GreenWaySquad. Her fascination towards coding and computers makes her a great addition to the GreenWaySquad as the team's Technology Director. She built the GreenWaySquad's official website and co-manages several of the squad's platforms including Youtube and Discord.
Co-Founder:
Catherine Chan
Catherine was drawn to the GreenWaySquad because of her love for the sciences, and she currently serves as the team's Media Director and Co-Founder. Her social, fun and outgoing personality shines when she works amongst people her age, as she strives to positively influence future generations. She manages the GreenWaySquad Instagram page, Discord server, Tiktok account, and Youtube.
Belgium's GreenWaySquad Chapter Leader: Sara Branca
Sara believes that young people mostly don't recognize the importance of caring for our planet. She hopes that if we can teach people to act in better ways, our community could expand to a greater level. She is very excited to be a part of GreenWaySquad!

Sophia is very passionate about environmental sustainability and joined GreenWaySquad to educate others with her articles. Her writing skills allow her to convey difficult topics in an understandable way.
